Weekend away in Chepstow

8th May 2009

Friday we set off for a rally with the caravan club Gwent Centre which was held  at Chepstow Racecourse. The weather was terrible we had rain and hailstones but wait for the British weather and we would never go anywhere so off we went hoping we wouldn’t get stuck on the grass as we have done before but there’s always plenty of 4 x 4’s on site. We were meeting up with my cousin and hubby from Cheltenham and they have a 4 x 4 so we knew we would be OK.

We arrived on site at 2pm in glorious sunshine what a change in the weather we were followed by the cousin just 5mins later. got the vans set up and had a cuppa and a snack and just sat and chatted.

Saturday 9th May

Woke up to a lovely sunny day and had a full English cooked on the BBQ by Geoff supervised by Bernard.
