A Coach Holiday to Ostend December 2008

Monday 1st Dec 2008 we were up at the crack of dawn for our 5 day Turkey & Tinsel coach holiday to Ostend. The taxi picked us up 5.50am and took us to the services to pick up the main coach for the trip. We had a good run down to Dover and a very smooth crossing to Calais. Then on another hour and half we were in our Hotel the Admiral in the centre of Ostend and just around the corner from the beach.

Tuesday after breakfast we had a full day trip to Bruges

Wednesday 3rd Dec a trip into Sluis  in Holland and back to Blankenburge in Belgium

Thursday 4th Dec no coach trips today  we had free time in Ostend so we walked around the shops and Christmas markets and the usual market and a daytime look at the Ice rink again and actually got s pics of some skaters

We found a lovely restaurant  and had the local Mussels Cliff getting tucked in

Weekend Away in Abergavenny

Friday 28th Nov 2008 we took our new to us motorhome out for the first time to a nice caravan site in in the Wernddu Golf Club Abergavenny. We are very pleased with the new M/H and even better we put it into our garage  when we got home.

Had a lot to do when we got home as we are off to Ostend in the morning the taxi is picking us up at 5.50am.

Coach holiday to Scotland

Monday 17th November  2008  we went on a 5 day coach holiday to Sterlingshire in Scotland arriving home around 7.30pm Friday 21st Nov 2009

A brilliant week with tours of the Trossachs,  Locks,  Edinburgh,  and Sterling,  and on the way home Gretna Green.

We had a lovely hotel the Rob Roy in Aberfoye  we had the best room just look at our 4 poster bed

 

 

The weather was very kind to us we didn't see any rain all the time we were there.
